Last updated: June 18, 2026. These terms govern your use of the Bio Matrix Inc. website and the purchase of our calibration services and refurbished equipment.
By accessing this website or engaging Bio Matrix Inc. for services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use this website or engage our services. Bio Matrix Inc. reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Bio Matrix Inc. provides pipette calibration (on-site and mail-in), balance calibration, pipette repair, and the sale of Bio Matrix-certified refurbished pipettes. Service availability is subject to geographic coverage, instrument condition, and parts availability.
Bio Matrix Inc. is not ISO/IEC 17025-accredited. Calibration certificates issued by Bio Matrix Inc. are not accredited certificates. They are formatted to include common documentation fields suitable for use in CAP-, CLIA-, GMP-, and FDA-regulated environments at the auditor's discretion.
All service quotes and product quotes are estimates only and are not binding until confirmed in writing by Bio Matrix Inc. Prices are subject to change without notice. Quote validity is 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated.
Service orders for mail-in instruments require decontamination of all instruments prior to shipment. Bio Matrix Inc. will not accept instruments that have not been decontaminated from radioactive, biohazardous, or toxic materials. Customer is responsible for decontamination compliance.
Payment is due upon receipt of invoice unless a net-30 arrangement has been approved in advance. Bio Matrix Inc. accepts check, ACH transfer, and major credit cards. Overdue accounts may be subject to a 1.5% monthly late fee. Bio Matrix Inc. reserves the right to withhold calibration certificates or release of repaired instruments until payment is received.
All refurbished pipette sales are final. Bio Matrix Inc. does not accept returns for buyer's remorse or ordering errors after shipment. If a unit arrives damaged in transit, notify us within 5 business days of receipt and retain all original packaging for an insurance or replacement claim.
Bio Matrix-certified refurbished pipettes carry a 180-day performance warranty as described in the Warranty Terms. The warranty is contingent on keeping the instrument in calibration as defined therein. The warranty remedy is limited to repair or replacement of the instrument at Bio Matrix Inc.'s discretion; it does not extend to consequential, incidental, or indirect damages.
Calibration services are performed in accordance with ISO 8655 using NIST-traceable reference standards. Bio Matrix Inc.'s liability for any claim arising out of calibration services is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Bio Matrix Inc. is not liable for laboratory data loss, regulatory findings, experiment failure, product batch loss, or any consequential, incidental, special, punitive, or indirect damages arising out of calibration services, whether based in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Repair estimates are provided at no charge. No repair work will be performed without customer authorization. If Bio Matrix Inc. cannot repair an instrument, no labor fee is charged. Return shipping for evaluated but unrepaired instruments is billed at cost. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on warranty claims unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Your use of this website and our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Guilford County, North Carolina. You consent to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
Bio Matrix Inc. reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. The updated date at the top of this page indicates when changes were last made. Your continued use of our website or services after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
