Recertification
Every certified refurbished pipette we sell goes through the same process we use for our calibration service clients — disassembly, cleaning, parts replacement, and gravimetric verification against ISO 8655. You receive the actual measured data with your order.
Complete disassembly. All components — piston, O-rings, seals, ejection mechanism, shaft — are inspected against OEM specification before any work begins.
Ultrasonic bath and chemical decontamination. Internal and external surfaces cleaned to remove biological and chemical residue from prior lab use.
O-rings, seals, pistons, and ejection assemblies replaced as needed. We use OEM-compatible parts — not substitutes. Worn or marginal components are not reused.
Volume accuracy verified on a NIST-traceable analytical balance at three test points per ISO 8655. Each measurement is recorded — not just pass/fail, but the actual values.
If any measurement falls outside spec, the instrument is adjusted and re-tested until it passes. Units that cannot be brought into spec are removed from inventory.
A NIST-traceable calibration certificate is issued for each unit. Your order confirmation includes the actual gravimetric data — the measured values at each test point — not a generic stamp.
Most refurbished pipette sellers issue a single certificate for a batch or no documentation at all. We issue per-unit data — the actual measured volume at each test point for the specific instrument you receive.
For GLP, GMP, and CAP-accredited labs, this isn't a nice-to-have — it's a documentation requirement. You shouldn't have to re-calibrate a pipette you just bought to have compliant records. Ours arrive ready.
Single-channel, multichannel, electronic, and manual configurations.
Don't see your brand? Ask — we handle most major manufacturers.
Every certified refurbished unit carries a 180-day performance warranty.
Valid as long as calibration is current — the same standard you'd hold any lab instrument to.
